ABSTRACT
Recent economic conflicts have pushed the world economy towards an inevitable trade war. At this juncture, India is a bright spot for global manufacturers to invest and expand business to roll out to keep the supply chain alive. India may face many challenges in tuning its current ecosystem for the upcoming FDI. Social mobility plays a crucial role in creating a conducive environment to attract FDI. It is a debatable subject, whether FDI(y) depends on social mobility (x) parameters, [y=f(x)]. In this write-up we will discuss upon expectations of FDI from the host country and how social mobility can satisfy the needs of FDI factors, considering the Indian context.
